One of Davido’s 30 Billion gang member has been bundled to prison for beating up officials at the airport due to their request for the tags of his luggage to be checked at the Muritala Muhammed Airport on Thursday, 11th of January.
The crew member identified as Kayode was asked to follow the standard procedures of providing the tags to the 17 luggage flown into the country with Davido via Emirate flight. Luggage to the tags has been checked, but tags needed confirmation which Kayode was obstructing. According to reports, Davido had left the clearance of luggage to a member of his crew, (Kayode) while he goes to his car to wait for them to join him.
The argument continued and Kayode insisted not to allow the airport officials check his tag until the matter got out of hand and he punched the airport staff. Some of the other officials who rushed to come put a stop to the issue also got their own share of punches hence they had no choice but to bundle him to prison. Among the people that were beaten up are; the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Aviation Security (AVSEC) and a staff of Checkport,
Davido who’s luggage and aide were in trouble was resting in his car, waiting for the issue to douse and his luggage brought to him in one piece; with one of the luggage revealed to also contain lots of foreign currencies. How Davido’s wait ended was not stated other than the fact that we did not hear that he was also arrested hence we are looking forward to seeing him tonight at the Soundcity MVP award since he is part of the nominees. Unfortunately, Kayode might have to view it in prison with fellow inmates or who knows, we might just see him beside Davido tonight. Nothing can be too sure when you have 30 Billion in your account.
